If you're going to be one-hit wonders, that hit better stand the test of time. Luckily for Canadian icons Len (and for us) their 1999 single "Steal My Sunshine" still resonates to this day, a fact proven once again by Portugal. The Man's newly released cover of the timeless bop.

The cover is a collaboration with Cherry Glazerr's Clementine Creevy, and while it's a solid, faithful take, it sort of feels like an exercise in futility to cover a song that nailed the vibe so precisely the first time around.

Along with "Steal My Sunshine," Portugal. The Man also shared a cover of the Eel's 1996 single "Novocaine for the Soul," featuring alt-pop singer Sir Chloe.

These covers aren't exactly coming out of nowhere — Portugal. The Man are gearing up to head on tour with Alt-J, where Cherry Glazerr and Sir Chloe will be trading off as openers. They'll be making stops in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
