From his various mixtapes to the explosive success of Exclaim!'s top rap album Tha Carter III, 2008 has been a banner year for New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. To wind things down in his typical, prolific style, Weezy has announced a month of tour dates on what he calls the "I Am Music Tour," which, if you consider his current place atop pop culture, isn't too far from the truth.
The tour will include support from T.I., Gym Class Heroes, T-Pain, Keri Hilson, and Keyshia Cole. The whole thing kicks off on December 14 in Miami, and continues on through mid-January, breaking for Christmas and ringing in the New Year in Atlanta, Georgia. The best part, however, is that Weezy and co have announced two Canadian dates in Montreal and Toronto on January 14 and 15.
