They say good things come in threes, and that's certainly true of Light in the Attic's ongoing Pacific Breeze release series. A third volume of Japanese City Pop will arrive via the label on February 24.

Following 2019's Pacific Breeze and 2020's Pacific Breeze Volume 2, the newly announced Pacific Breeze Volume 3: Japanese City Pop, AOR & Boogie 1975-1987 was compiled by Yosuke Kitazawa and Mark "Frosty" McNeill, while artwork comes courtesy of renowned illustrator Hiroshi Nagai.

Artists featured this time around include Pizzicato Five, Miharu Koshi, Chiemi Manabe, Susan, Teresa Noda, Atsuko Nina, Naomi Akimoto, Parachute, Hiroyuki Namba, Osamu Shoji, Makoto Matsushita and more.

While they aren't front and centre, Yellow Magic Orchestra members Haruomi Hosono, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yukihiro Takahashi are also present in the roles of producer and player.

Pacific Breeze Volume 3 is now available for pre-order on LP, CD and cassette, and you can pore over its complete tracklist below.
