Currently on the road with Sylvan Esso, Lido Pimienta is wasting no time in mapping out a world tour of her own for 2022, which includes performances in Canada.
Following those aforementioned Sylvan Esso shows this month, Pimienta will play a pair of shows in Colombia this December to round out her 2021, ahead of getting back on the road next February.
A February 11 show at Toronto's Axis Club alongside R. Flex will give way to a trio of shows in British Columbia.
On February 26, Pimienta will play the Tidemark Theatre in Campbell River with Kinnie Starr, ahead of back-to-back shows with Y La Bamba at Victoria's Capitol Ballroom and Vancouver's Fortune Sound Club on March 2 and 3, respectively.
From there, it's down the West coast towards Nashville, with performances lined up at Big Ears Festival and Third Man Records ahead of the European itinerary. You can find Pimienta's entire tour schedule below.
Of course, Pimienta is touring behind last year's Grammy-nominated LP Miss Colombia, which landed among Exclaim!'s 50 Best Albums of 2020.
This year, Pimienta scored a New York City Ballet Orchestra production, covered Björk, and appeared on a new album from Mas Aya.
