Alt-rock heroine Courtney Love has been flexing her acting chops lately, taking on roles for TV and the stage, but she's about to return to her own live music — as an opening act. Vintage-sounding pop diva Lana Del Rey will be hitting the road this spring and is bringing along the First Lady of Grunge.
The "Endless Summer Tour" is Del Rey's latest live event in support of Ultraviolence, and Love will be sharing the stage for the first string of dates. The tour will kick off on May 7 in the Woodlands, TX, and finish up in West Palm Beach, FL, on June 16.
Canadian fans hoping to see the pair, however, are out of luck — Del Rey will be making stops in Toronto on June 3 and Montreal on June 4, but Love won't be included on the bill after the May 22 show in Ridgefield, WA.
We're assuming this means that Del Rey has made up with Love's daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Cobain lashed out at the singer via Twitter earlier this year for glamorizing the early death of musicians in an interview with the Guardian.
