Anticipation is building for Flying Lotus's Until the Quiet Comes, due out October 2 via Warp Records, but the Los Angeles beatmaker has just dropped a couple of new tracks that don't appear on the new collection.
The instrumental "lamentedmix3" is a blippy track that sets shimmering synths and tinkling electronics against a lurching beat. It's a pretty, atmospheric cut that clocks in at under two minutes.
FlyLo also shared an abridged instrumental version of "Between Friends," his new Earl Sweatshirt-featuring single for Adult Swim. Judging by the title on SoundCloud, this chilled-out cut apparently features Thundercat.
