Flying Lotus has teamed up with Los Angeles soul singer Devin Tracy for a pair of new tracks, "The Room" and "You Don't Know," both of which arrive today through Warp Records.
As a press release tells it, FlyLo discovered the emerging vocalist at a session and felt an immediate kinship, which later blossomed into the pair of new songs we heard today.
We still haven't seen a proper full-length release from the producer since 2019's Flamagra, though he has had a few projects in the works in the interim. Last year, Netflix put Flying Lotus in charge of its Yasuke score, while They Call Me Magic also credits the producer for its theme song.
