He will host an evening at Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium this week

Following rumours that Kanye West held a listening session in Las Vegas over the weekend to play songs from his DONDA album, a more public event has been revealed for his long-awaited LP.

Both Live Nation and West's G.O.O.D. Music prez Pusha-T have confirmed that a DONDA listening event will take place this Thursday (July 22) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Find the announcement below.

It has yet to be confirmed if DONDA will finally see release following the event. Last June, West shared that his follow-up to 2019's Jesus Is King would be titled God's Country. Single "Wash Us in the Blood," mixed by Dr. Dre and featuring Travis Scott, followed shortly afterwards.

Following the implosion of his 2020 presidential campaign, West claimed that an album dubbed DONDA would arrive in late July, though no release ever materialized.

Large-scale listening events have become a staple of West's recent album rollouts. Perhaps most memorably, he took over New York's Madison Square Garden for the debut of 2016's The Life of Pablo, ahead of bringing listeners to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for the debuts of yeKids See Ghosts, Nas' Nasir and more in 2018.
