Having hinted plenty at the return of his Desert Sessions recording series, Josh Homme is now reportedly set to deliver not one but two new volumes in the series for the first time in 16 years.
According to the New York Times, the Queens of the Stone Age frontman will release Volumes 11 and 12 of the series in October.
Homme recorded both efforts at his Joshua Tree ranch late last year. The most recent instalment of Homme's Desert Sessions series arrived in 2003.
The Times reports that collaborators set to join Homme include Primus bandleader Les Claypool, ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, and Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint.
Gibbons had revealed his involvement in the project back in June, while Homme had teased a return to the desert on Instagram in May.
