Jessy Lanza just wrapped a leg of North American tour dates supporting Junior Boys, but the Hamilton-bred electronic music maker is already gearing up for her next trip. A headlining tour has just been announced, and it takes off in June.
Lanza's marquee-topping trek starts about a month after her Oh No LP drops on May 13 through Hyperdub. While the first show takes place in Pontiac, MI, there are a handful of Canadian stops booked throughout the month-long journey.
Below, you'll find all the date and venue details for the trip, which will hit Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. Throughout the trek, she will be joined by Teklife artist DJ Taye.
As previously reported, Oh No follows Lanza's Polaris Music Prize shortlisted 2013 effort, Pull My Hair Back. The new album was recorded in Hamilton with Junior Boys' Jeremy Greenspan and is described as being "playfully laced with cascading arpeggios, crispy drum machines and breezy songs."
You'll find a stream of the record's "VV Violence" beneath the show info.
