Jessy Lanza Escapes the Chaos on New Song "Don't Leave Me Now"

It's the first song Lanza wrote and produced since moving to Los Angeles

Jessy Lanza has returned with a video for new single "Don't Leave Me Now," the first song that Lanza wrote and produced since moving to Los Angeles.

The plush, nervy song was inspired by a bout of agoraphobia that Lanza experienced after being nearly hit by a car in her new city, and Lanza described its creation as an act of catharsis.

The video, directed by Winston H. Case, finds Lanza floating above the city's commotion in a cherry picker before an skeevy cameraman starts following her, pushing Lanza to turn the lens back on him.

Lanza's last major project was her 2021 DJ-Kicks mix. Next month, she'll be heading on tour, supporting Yaeji on her North American run. See those dates, along with the "Don't Leave Me Now" video, below.
