Last January, J. Cole celebrated his Dreamville crew with a mixtape called Revenge of the Dreamers. He's been hinting at a follow-up ever since, but now it's official — Revenge of the Dreamers II is on the way.
Over the weekend, Cole and his buds all tweeted out the phone number 1-888-88-DREAM. Those with sharp memories remembered it from the cover of the first Dreamers compilation, and sure enough they were right about the connection.
Calling the number resulted in a jokey voicemail message from J. Cole (though some fans reportedly got through to his actual manager). Shortly after the phone number was tweeted, Dreamers II was confirmed.
An iTunes listing for the release suggests it'll arrive on December 11 and feature nine new new tracks from Cole and his companions. Among them is "Night Job," a new song from Bas and Cole that can be streamed below.
