Following her award-winning score for Todd Phillips' Joker, composer Hildur Guðnadóttir will return to lend music to the film's forthcoming sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux.
A new Variety profile notes that the Icelandic artist has begun work on new music for the film, reuniting with director Phillips and lead clown Joaquin Phoenix.
Guðnadóttir — whose recent score work can be heard in Sarah Polley's Women Talking and Todd Field's Tár — captured an Academy Award for Best Original Score, a BAFTA Award for Best Original Music and a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for her Joker score, making her the first solo female composer to win all three.
