Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: BAMBII, Charlotte Cornfield, Cam Kahin

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Apr 6, 2023

To state the obvious, it's not quite New Music Friday — but that just means you should be all the more impressed at the plethora of new Canadian music we've already amassed this week.

BAMBII gets back in the game with "One Touch," and Charlotte Cornfield explores plainspoken nuance. Cam Kahin shares his debut EP, and we catch up on B.A. Johnston's latest with the surprise-released, quintessentially CanCon Argos Suck.

In terms of album releases, this Good Friday thing is getting in the way a bit — but one more sleep till the new Daniel Caesar LP (NEVER ENOUGH)!

Elsewhere, heavyweights OMBIIGIZI and July Talk's Peter Dreimanis team up on "Back at Me." Meanwhile, Winnipeg's Bush Lotus introduces herself with "Open," and Montreal's PRIORS are in full bloom on the title track from their forthcoming album Daffodil.

Hunt for the best little sonic chocolate egg on The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
