West Coast sonic experimenter Liz Harris is set to release new material as Grouper next month, and she's whetting fans' appetites with a new song titled "Call Across Rooms."
The gloomy piano number will appear on her upcoming Ruins LP, which was mostly recorded in Portugal back in 2011. Recorded on a portable four-track with a Sony stereo mic and the aforementioned piano, the album will most certainly deliver on the minimalism front if this track is anything to go by.
Ruins arrives on October 31 via Kranky, and you can listen to the haunting "Call Across Rooms" below.
