Green Day recently partnered with the NHL for a number of promotional ventures, including their Wednesday Night Hockey theme song that premiered last night (October 9).
"Fire, Ready, Aim" comes from the band's upcoming album Father of All…, but is hoping to become primarily associated with NHL puck action. After all, Green Day will perform at the NHL All-Star Game in St. Louis on January 25.
The song debuted during last night's match-up between the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers (of which Gritty was the clear winner), and has since been released online.

Father of All… is due out February 7 via Reprise/Warner. Next year, the band will also head out on "The Hella Mega Tour" with Weezer and Fall Out Boy.
