Gorillaz' Converse Track to Feature Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu?

Gorillaz previously confirmed that they would be taking part in Converse's Three Artists. One Song. series, which brings together three high-profile acts for a sneaker-promoting collaboration. The parties involved still haven't confirmed who Gorillaz' collaborative partners will be, but reports are now suggesting that Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu will join the animated crew.

Where do these rumours come from? Well, Seattle's 107.7 The End notes that the silhouettes in Gorillaz' promotional Converse picture (above) look like recent images of Andre and Badu. If you remember, Badu also confirmed that she was working with Gorillaz on an unnamed project back in the summer.

The rumours were seemingly confirmed when a non-silhouetted version of the Converse promo picture leaked onto the web. It shows the Badu-esque figure wearing a kimono and the Andre-looking figure in a black and white mask. As 107.7 The End points out, both of them have recently been spotted donning similar outfits.

The hashtag attached to the leaked promo image suggests that the track will be called "Do Ya Thing."

All will be revealed this Thursday (February 9), so hold tight for official confirmation. Until then, listen to a cryptic message from the cartoon band's Murdoc about the track below.
