Hamilton, ON-based musician Bill Majoros is in the midst of an ambitious release under his Foreign Films moniker, and Exclaim! has got your first listen to the latest part of The Record Collector.
The Record Collector will be officially arriving as an 18-song double LP next year, but Majoros has been slowly unveiling it in sides. We last heard the second side back in the fall, and now the third segment is here.
"Each side of the double album represents a time period of approximately three months," Majoros explained in a statement. "The album, literally, was a year-long experiment in songwriting starting on my birthday. Side 3 is a juxtaposition of diverse influences I hold dear! The music I've loved growing up has subconsciously made its way into these songs; '60s British, French and West Coast pop, vintage soul, '70s singer songwriter and a touch of art/prog and even new wave. More than anything I strive to create my own unique world of sound!"
