Hamilton musician Bill Majoros is continuing to plug away at The Record Collector — a massive six-sided, triple-LP project under his Foreign Films moniker.
The six-sided offering will officially arrive in its entirety on March 23, but he's already given us glimpses into the project by revealing Side 2 and Side 3. Now, the opening side has arrived to stream.
"As an artist I set forth to create my own musical universe," Majoros tells Exclaim! "After years of writing, playing and recording I've completed a lifelong dream; a triple vinyl concept LP. It's a musical time machine, interwoven with psychedelic mythology; it's the technicolour soundtrack to my life; simultaneously an imaginary fable. From the sparkling rivers of youth to the deep sea of a lifetime, I wanted to present a multidimensional musical adventure. You can skim the surface or dive for peals if you choose. A Phoenix from the flames or swan song, my heart and soul went in this record."
