TD Halifax Jazz Fest is returning to the waterfront Salter Lot in 2023, and today we've gotten word that Fleet Foxes are due to make their East Coast debut as headliners at the festival, which runs July 11 to 16.
The festival's 38th edition will also see special guests, Newfoundland folk duo Fortunate Ones, joining Robin Pecknold and co. at the TD Main Stage's closing performance.
Festival passes are on sale now, while single-day Fleet Foxes tickets will be available as of 12 p.m. AT on Friday, February 10.
"We are thrilled to bring the TD Main Stage back to the Salter Lot on the Halifax Waterfront for the 2023 festival," said Andrea Dawson Thomas, Executive Director of Jazz Rising East Association.
Dawson added: "We're excited to return to the familiar setting of so many memorable festival performances, and with a new improved site layout, and with more capacity, we can bring bigger shows to Halifax."
