The 6 God's plan for world domination seems to be working out just fine, as Drake's latest single "God's Plan" has set new streaming records.
The track dropped last weekend, and it immediately shattered Spotify's record for the most streams in a single day. The record was previously held by Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do."
"God's Plan" was streamed more than 4.3 million times on January 22 in the United States alone.
Drizzy toasted his latest record-breaking streak on Instagram, paying homage to LeBron James' 30,000-point, Kobe Bryant-beating new record at the same time. See that post below.
It's also sitting atop the Apple Music charts alongside fellow new cut "Diplomatic Immunity."
UPDATE (1/25, 1:00 p.m. EST): "God's Plan" has also broken the Apple Music first-day record, garnering a whopping 14 million streams.
The pair of songs were unexpectedly released and packaged together under the banner Scary Hours (complete with allegedly ripped off artwork).
Streaming accolades are nothing new for Drake, though. He earned the most-streamed record and song in 2016 for VIEWS and "One Dance," respectively. Then last year, he broke the single-day album streaming record upon the release of More Life.
