DIIV are releasing a new album this year. More than three years removed from 2016's Is the Is Are, the jangly dream-pop band are prepping their third LP.

Details are pretty much non-existent at this point, but the band announced the news with a simple Instagram post featuring a concert photo of frontman Zachary Cole Smith and the all-lowercase caption "hi lp3 2019."

Additionally, DIIV have officially parted ways with bassist Devin Ruben Perez, who was discovered to have made offensive posts on the online message board 4chan back in 2014. They confirmed his departure to Pitchfork, noting that he had been out of the band since December 2017, but didn't offer further comment.

Stay tuned for more updates about DIIV's third LP.
