Death Announce Vancouver Appearance

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 11, 2013

Revitalized proto-punk unit Death's victory lap comes back through Canada this year, with the Detroit band having announced another concert in Vancouver.

Having last played Vancouver in November 2012, first at the Fall Down/Get Down festival and then the next day for an in-store at Neptoon Records, the family trio makes their return to BC on November 1 at the Rickshaw Theatre. This appears to be the only upcoming Canadian date at present, but you can check out Death's sporadic show schedule down below.

Death's career was kick-started by a pair of LPs compiling recordings brothers David, Bobby and Dannis Hackney tracked in the '70s, which were discovered by Bobby's children in the family attic. Their re-emergence has been critically acclaimed, has yielded a number of tour dates, and inspired the feel-good documentary A Band Called Death.

Tour dates:

09/14 Detroit, MI - DIY Festival
10/29 Los Angeles, CA - The Echoplex
11/01 Vancouver, BC - Rickshaw Theatre
