D'Angelo released his new album Black Messiah back in December, and now the celebrated soul enigma has followed it with a live set for Spotify.
This Spotify Sessions recording contains just four tracks, but the songs are so long that the whole thing clocks in at more than half an hour. Three of the cuts come from Black Messiah, but the set wraps up with a cover of Prince's "She's Always in My Hair," which sounds appropriately grandiose and funky.
