Stirring up more hype behind their forthcoming AMNESTY (I), revamped Canadian electro outfit Crystal Castles have unveiled yet another pre-release preview. Though titled "Fleece," it's another jagged floor-pounder.
While starting off with a muted and choppy drum-and-vocal motif, Crystal Castles quickly submerge listeners with an ear-obliterating wash of distorted synths. The arrangement traffics closer to the red from there on, with Ethan Kahn offering up post-industrial rhythms and vocalist Edith Frances appearing in electronically altered form.
You'll find the latest AMNESTY (I) track below, while the album arrives August 19 via Last Gang/Casablanca Records. As previously reported, it will be supported with a tour.
