Slop-pop outfit Coyote Black gave us an EP titled Love, tho last year, and now the Hamilton band are back with a brand new single and video.
The track is titled "Show Girl," and was recorded with Alex Bonenfant at Noble Street Studios as part of the Converse Rubber Tracks program. It's a slinky, groove-fuelled psych-pop jam that's been paired with some accompanying visuals that see the band performing beneath colourful, speckled filters and lighting tricks, as a partially dressed mannequin looks on in the background.
"'Show Girl' has a bit of an ambiguous emotion to it," the band tell Exclaim! "I'd like to think that the listener will draw a different meaning from the song depending on what kind of mood they are in."
