BTS have unveiled a video for their latest Map of the Soul: 7 single "Black Swan," with the K-pop megastars embracing their inner Natalie Portman.
The clip features the group performing intricate choreography in an ornately decorated theatre and features multiple allusions to both Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan and the ballet it was based on, Swan Lake.
As such, the BTS boys toy with the perception of good and evil, portrayed by contrasting white and black. Scenes filled with mirrors touch on the idea of being haunted by oneself — and while Natalie Portman's character in the film was threatened by one other dancer, BTS have the seven of each other to compete with.
