The single finds Beck in acoustic balladeer mode — although it's a little more warm and rustic than his even his past acoustic albums, 2002's Sea Change and 2014's Morning Phase, as Beck's plaintively romantic romantic lyrics are acompanied by acoustic arpeggios and mournful harmonica.
