While Justin Bieber may have beat the "ditching the grown man named Scooter" allegations, two other pop stars have not. Both Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato have parted ways with artist manager Scooter Braun.
UPDATE (8/22, 4:01 p.m.): Braun has jokingly responded to reports that multiple artists have parted ways with him on Twitter. "Breaking news… I'm no longer managing myself," he wrote.
Billboard confirmed both of the splits yesterday (August 21), with Braun, Grande and Lovato all declining to comment. Grande had been working with Braun since her 2013 debut album, Yours Truly, while Lovato signed to Braun's SB Projects in 2019.
A source with knowledge of Lovato's departure from Braun said that the singer is grateful for their time with SB Projects, but that it was time for them to go in a new direction.
Lovato and Grande are not the only two artists who've recently skeeted from Scooter — J Balvin parted ways with him in May. While it was initially reported that Bieber had also dumped Braun as his manager last week, reps for both parties denied the claims.

Grande is set to release a Yours Truly 10th anniversary deluxe digital edition on Friday (August 25), while Lovato will release Revamped — a collection of rock reworkings of their tracks — on September 18.
