Arcade Fire's Win Butler to Play in NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Beyond fronting a little band called Arcade Fire, musician Win Butler has recently taken on roles as DJ Windows 98 and a specialty coffee connoisseur. Now, he's got another impressive feat to add to his resume, as he's been recruited to play in the NBA All-Star weekend celebrity match.

The game will go down on February 13 at Madison Square Garden in New York, kicking off a weekend of basketball festivities.

A number of other high-profile entertainers will be joining Butler on the court for the celeb match, including rapper Common, comedian Kevin Hart and Mariah Carey's soon-to-be-ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Actors Ansel Elgort Chadwick Boseman, Machael Rapaport and Abhishek Bachchan are also on the roster, as are Mo'ne Davis, Allan Houston, Chris Mullin, Blake Leeper and Robert Pera. Balancing out the testosterone, TV host Kristen Ledlow and WNBA ladies Shone Schimmel, Skylar Diggins and Tina Charles round out the lineup.

Canadian popsters Magic! will be performing at the game's halftime show.

While Butler may be an NBA rookie, this isn't the first time he's showed off his love of basketball. In addition to playing in Pop Montreal's annual Pop vs. Jock showdown, he's made musical contributions to basketball charity Rock the Court. Then there's also that time he stole a guy's basketball.
