Angel Olsen has already primed us for the release of her next album My Woman with videos for "Shut Up Kiss Me" and "Intern," and she's just shared another new clip before the new record arrives next week.
This time it's "Sister" that's been given the visual treatment. It was directed by Conor Hagen, and features the singer-songwriter roaming around summery, picturesque streets, an airy apartment, and the desert. In addition to shots of a carefree Olsen strolling through her neighbourhood, there are some teary moments — but following a rapid-fire montage towards the end of the eight-minute clip, things seem to end up looking rather bright.
My Woman is out on September 2 through Jagjaguwar. Read Exclaim!'s recent interview with Olsen here, and watch the video for "Sister" below. Head here to see Olsen's upcoming North American tour dates, which include stops in Toronto and Montreal.
