Fresh off earning three 2021 Juno Award nominations earlier this week, Ali Gatie is teasing a forthcoming EP with a newly shared single.

"Can't Let You Go," Gatie's first release of 2021, arrives alongside a black and white video you can find below. The single will appear on EP The Idea of Her, due out March 26 through Warner.

The 10-track The Idea of Her features appearances from Marshmello, Ty Dolla $ign and fellow 2021 Juno nominee Tate McRae.

"'Can't Let You Go' is as sad and hopeless as it gets, and that's what this project is about — the rollercoaster of emotions that being in love brings to your life," Gatie said of his latest. "It's not just about one relationship, it's about love as a whole. The type of love that takes a day to happen and the type of heartbreak that takes years to recover from. 'Her' is a metaphor for love, and the project is about me being in love with the idea of love."

Gatie's debut EP YOU is up for Album of the Year at the 2021 Juno Awards, while the artist is also nominated for Artist of the Year and Juno Fan Choice awards.
