Back in 2014, J. Cole landed himself an accompanying HBO special upon releasing his 2014 Forest Hills Drive LP. In looking back at his most recent effort 4 Your Eyez Only, the rapper has lined himself up another special with the network.

Entertainment Weekly reports that a second documentary, titled J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, A Dreamville Film, will premiere on HBO on April 15 from 10 to 11 p.m. EDT. A trailer for the film can be found below.

The publication reveals that the film will focus on stories of lower-income residents in Baton Rouge, LA; Atlanta, GA; Ferguson, MI; Jonesboro, AR; and Cole's hometown of Fayetteville, NC.

The documentary "promises to illustrate how their struggles over viable housing, voting laws for felons, integration, and more mirror the frustrations felt across the nation," interspersed with performances of music from Cole's titular fourth LP.

J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only, A Dreamville Film was co-directed by Cole himself and Scott Lazer, who also handled last year's HBO special. The doc was produced by Tim Grant and executive produced by Cole, Ibrahim Hamad, and Adam Roy Rodney.
