Here Are the 2016 Grammy Award Winners

The nominations for the 2016 Grammy Awards were announced late last year, and tonight (February 15) finally sees the big winners revealed during the ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kendrick Lamar led the pack of nominated artists earning 11 nods for his latest album To Pimp a Butterfly. Canadian crooner the Weeknd and chart-topping pop princess Taylor Swift were each up for seven, while Alabama Shakes got nods in six categories and Drake garnered a respectable tip of the hat in five.

During the ceremonies, highlights included Taylor Swift winning Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989 and Best Music Video for the Kendrick Lamar-featuring "Bad Blood"; the Weeknd grabbing Best Urban Contemporary Album for Beauty Behind the Madness and Best R&B Performance for "Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)"; Kendrick Lamar winning Best Rap Album for To Pimp a Butterfly, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for "Alright," and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with "These Walls"; and Alabama Shakes taking home Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album Non-Classical for Sound & Color, as well as Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for "Don't Wanna Fight."

Other notable winners included Skrillex and Diplo with Justin Bieber winning Best Dance Recording with "Where Are Ü Now," Skrillex and Diplo winning Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars getting Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Uptown Funk," Jason Isbell taking Best Americana Album with Something More Than Free and Best American Roots Song for "24 Frames," Ghost nabbing Best Metal Performance for "Cirice," Muse getting Best Rock Album for Drones, and D'Angelo and the Vanguard winning Best R&B Album for Black Messiah and Best R&B Song for "Really Love."

Then we had Louis C.K. taking home Best Comedy album for Live at Madison Square Garden, Maria Schneider winning Best Arrangement, Instruments and Vocals for working on David Bowie's "Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)," and Jack White's Third Man Records' The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, Volume Two getting the award for Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.
