Everyone's favourite stalker has another season on the way. Netflix has announced that Penn Badgley will return as serial killer Joe Goldberg for a fifth and final season of You.
Details of the upcoming season, including the release date and cast, have yet to be shared. Showrunner Sera Gamble revealed that she is stepping into a new role as an executive producer. In exchange, EPs Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will be co-showrunners in Season 5.
Series developers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schecter spoke in a press release about ending the show, saying: "Ever since our friends at Alloy shared Caroline Kepnes' fantastic book we have always conceived it as a five season journey."
