Vampire Weekend's Guitarist Keeps Posting Perfect Impressions of Chet Hanks's Fake Jamaican Accent

There's a lot of talent running in the Hanks family, but neither Tom nor his children have the distinct ability to deliver Ali G/People Just Do Nothing-level white-guy patois quite like Chet Hanks. The rapper and occasionally controversial internet star has been delivering viral videos in a fake Jamaican accent on the regular, and Vampire Weekend guitarist Brian Robert Jones has taken notice.

Yes, when he's not shredding out perfect Father of the Bride riffs, Jones has taken his musical prowess to the realm of video, offering exact recreations of Hanks's viral videos. It started with Chet's famously cringey Golden Globes red carpet appearance:
 

It was a strong showing on its own, but Jones upped the ante with the next video, incorporating a prop and mastering the "grrrr" face at the end of the vid:
 

As if that weren't enough, the trilogy concluded with Chet breaking the fourth wall and expressing that he meant no harm with his impersonation of the Jamaican accent. It's a sincere clip complete with a plug for Hanks's new single. And it's made all the more incredibly by Jones's perfect impersonation:
