'The Price Is Right' Postpones Taping After Drew Carey's Ex-Fiancée Dies

Price Is Right has postponed tapings for the week, after host Drew Carey's former fiancée Amie Harwick died.

The show was scheduled to tape today and tomorrow (February 19), but those dates have been pushed back to allow the host to grieve his ex.

Harwick was found early Saturday morning (February 16) after falling from a third floor balcony. She later died at the hospital.

Her roommate told the police who arrived in response to an emergency call that Harwick was being assaulted in their home.

Harwick's ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in her death. She had previously filed a restraining order against him, although it had since expired.

Harwick was a well-known family and sex therapist in Los Angeles, frequently appearing on YouTube channels and podcasts to share her expertise.

Carey and Harwick began dating in 2017 and were engaged in 2018. They later separated.

Carey has since shared a tribute to Harwick on social media, tweeting a video of the pair with the caption: "I hope you're lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves as much as she did."
