Fountain of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger — who was also a founding member of equally great 90s band Ivy — died in 2020 from COVID complications at 52. There was an outpouring of love for Schlesinger and his songwriting at the time of his death, and former FoW bandmate Jody Porter put together a tribute concert in Schlesinger's name.
Recorded at the Electric Bowery in New York, the concert was initially only available as a video-on-demand livestream, but it's now been uploaded to YouTube for all to see.
The concert features performances from Courtney Love, R.E.M.'s Peter Buck, the Black Keys' Patrick Carney, Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba, Squeeze's Glenn Tilbrook, and many more, including a reunited Tinted Windows, Schlesinger's project with James Iha, Taylor Hanson, and Bun E. Carlos.
