BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 15, 2020

Taylor Swift's upcoming documentary Miss Americana will arrive on Netflix later this month.

It's slated to premiere at Sundance Film Festival on January 23 and will hit Netflix just one week later on January 31.

It's directed by Lana Wilson and produced by Morgan Neville, Caitrin Rogers and Christine O'Malley.

A press release describes the film as "a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time during a transformational period in her life as she learns to embrace her role not only as a songwriter and performer, but as a woman harnessing the full power of her voice."

The film's title comes from Swift's Lover track, "Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince."

Swift previously inked a deal with Netflix for 2018's The Reputation Stadium Tour concert film.

Prior to that, in 2015, she released a concert film for The 1989 World Tour Live exclusively through Apple Music.
