Sundance Unveils 2020 Lineup

From Taylor Swift's documentary to new movies with St. Vincent, Ben Affleck and Julianne Moore, here's what's playing

Once again, it's time to get ready for the annual Sundance Film Festival, and to get us going, organizers have just announced the fest's entire feature film lineup. As could be expected, there are more than a few highlights, including the sudden announcement of the new Taylor Swift documentary Miss Americana.

The January event will run for 11 days and showcase an impressive 188 features in Park City, UT. In addition to that T. Swift doc by Lana Wilson (After Tiller, The Departure), there is The Nowhere Inn, a new movie that co-stars and was co-written by Annie Clark of St. Vincent and Carrie Brownstein.

Other highlights include Angelina Jolie starring in Brave director Brenda Chapman's fantasy Come Away with David Oyelowo and Michael Caine; Ben Affleck and Anne Hathaway will lead The Last Thing He Wanted; and Julianne Moore will take the role of Gloria Steinem in The Glorias, helmed by director Julie Taymor.

There's also Downhill from Succession mastermind Jesse Armstrong, Falling by Viggo Mortensen, the Ren & Stimpy doc Happy Happy Joy Joy – The Ren & Stimpy Story, the Rebuilding Paradise doc by Ron Howard, and Possessor by Brandon Cronenberg.

"Downhill"/ U.S.A.
