'Suspiria' Remake Reportedly Stars Dakota Johnson and Tilda Swinton

The long-promised remake of Dario Argento's 1977 giallo classic Suspiria took a loss last year when indie director David Gordon Green stepped down from the project. It appears to be forging ahead with new director Luca Guadagnino, however, and now more information has been unveiled.

Bloody Disgusting points to notes from a Q and A with Guadagnino, who dropped some tidbits about the film. It'll reportedly be set in 1977 Berlin.

Further, we've learned who will star in the film. After heading up the unintentionally terrifying Fifty Shades of Grey, Dakota Johnson will lead the film. Meanwhile, Tilda Swinton will likely do a bang-up job as the leader of a secret coven of witches.

Stay tuned for more information on the Suspiria remake as it becomes available.
