It's been a long while in the making, but Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon is finally starting to feel real thanks to the arrival of its first official teaser trailer. The Apple Original Films production arrives in theatres on October 6.
Based on the true story of the 1920s Osage Nation murders detailed in David Grann's 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, the film stars regular Scorsese collaborators Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, as well as Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser and Jillian Dion. Jack White, Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson also appear.
"Greed is an animal," a title card reads, "that hungers for blood." Throughout, DiCaprio is heard repeating: "Can you find the wolves in this picture?"
