Sharon Van Etten has revealed details of a new short film about her. Titled Departure, it will arrive on Thursday (September 26) via Amazon Music.
The film was directed by Josh Goleman, and it captures Van Etten during a recording session on her final day living in New York City — which includes a performance of "Seventeen" with Norah Jones.
The trailer has just been unveiled, and in addition to an interview with Van Etten, we get to see old footage of the singer-songwriter's 15 years living in New York.

Van Etten's most recent album, Remind Me Tomorrow, was released earlier this year.
