As promised, Ryan Coogler's Rocky spinoff Creed is receiving a sequel, and the first trailer for the second instalment has just arrived.
Michael B. Jordan returns as Adonis Creed — son to the late Apollo Creed — and looks as ripped as ever. The trailer shows the younger Creed in the lead-up to a match against Ivan Drago — the son of the the boxer who killed Apollo in the ring.
In addition to Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Wood Harris, Phylicia Rashad and Andre Ward all reprise their roles in the new film.
This time around, the film was directed by Steven Caple Jr., whose previous credits include The Land.
