After what feels like an eternity, we at long last have the premiere date for Season 2 of The Witcher.

Today Netflix announced that The Witcher Season 2 will officially hit the streamer on December 17. And yes, that means December 17, 2021.

The announcement comes in the wake of various micro teases from Netflix, who added to that today by sharing a new trailer — soundtracked by Fleet Foxes — as well as few more images from Season 2. This includes one of that love-to-hate Jaskier the bard, as well as one of Freya Allan's Ciri donning a sword during what looks like a training session. After all, even OP characters gotta start somewhere.

And just to tease us even more, Netflix has shared a clip teasing all the episode titles.
As previously reported, today is WitcherCon — an event inspired by both the series and the video game. Production on the upcoming season began last August, but the pandemic obviously caused quite the delay, and it also didn't help matters that Geralt of Rivia himself, Henry Cavill, didn't buff himself with the right potions and got injured on set.
