Good news for fans of Showtime's dramedy Shameless and, more importantly, equal pay between men and women. Emmy Rossum has finished her contract negotiations, and the show will resume production on its eighth season.
According to Deadline, Rossum was offered the same salary as William H. Macy, with Showtime promising parity as they go forward.

Earlier this week, Rossum's co-star William H. Macy voiced his support for Rossum, telling TMZ, "She works as hard as I do. She deserves everything.... The only thing I've got over Emmy Rossum is I'm better looking."
