Despite Steven Yeun's amazing track record on both television (The Walking Dead) and film (Burning), the actor is only now starting to get some proper respect thanks to Minari — a film that rightly netted him a Best Actor Oscar nomination this week. Already, though, Yeun is reuniting with Minari producers A24 for a new TV series alongside Ali Wong.

While details are slim, Yeun and Wong will unite for a 10-episode dramedy, Deadline reports. With A24 on board, the pair will also serve as executive producers on the as-yet-untitled project.

The limited series will come from creator/writer/showrunner of the limited series is Lee Sung-Jin, who has previously worked on such series as Dave, Silicon Valley and Tuca & Bertie.

For Yeun, this will mark his first TV role since — spoiler — his beloved character Glenn Rhee was killed off in The Walking Dead several years ago.

Believe it or not, his Oscar nomination for Minari means he's the first Asian-American to ever be up for the award. We should point out, however, that Yeun actually first moved to Regina in 1988 when his family left South Korea, though they did eventually leave the Prairies for Michigan.
