Back in February, a new documentary about long-running alt-country legends Wilco premiered at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, MT. Now, Every Other Summer will be getting an official release on June 18 through dBpm Records.

The film was directed by Christoph Green and Brendan Canty, and chronicles the band's Solid Sound Festival. The three-day festival in North Adams, MA, last took place in 2013, which is when the footage was filmed.

Every Other Summer features performances from Wilco, Neko Case, the Dream Syndicate, Yo La Tengo, Sean Rowe, White Denim, Border Music, the Autumn Defense, Reggie Watts, Lucius, Foxygen, Sam Amidon, and the Relatives, while comedians like Reggie Watts, Jen Kirkman and John Hodgman also make appearances.

According to the trailer's description on Vimeo, the film also "offers a peek into the festival's utopian vibe, and the positive transformative impact it has had on the small rust belt town of North Adams."
