Wilco's summer is looking to be a lot busier than we had thought, as the veteran alt-country experimenters have revealed another batch of dates as part of their 20th anniversary tour, including a stop up in Vancouver.
The band announced they'd beefed up their tour schedule today (April 27), with the extra run of shows hitting various theatres across North America. A good portion of these have been added along the West Coast, with the band making their way through California, Oregon and Washington before arriving at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre on August 12. This show will also feature an opening set from Jenny Lewis.
The Vancouver date is sandwiched between previously announced performances at the Winnipeg Folk Festival in July and Toronto's TURF event in September.
In addition to Lewis, the upcoming shows will also find Wilco sharing stages with Dr. Dog, Steve Gunn and Speedy Ortiz. You'll find all of Wilco's upcoming concerts, including the return of their own Solid Sound Festival, down below.
