The Wet Secrets and Good for Grapes Book PEAK Performance Project "Victory Tour"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 20, 2015

Last year, Edmonton pop combo the Wet Secrets and rootsy BC six-piece Good for Grapes respectively won the Alberta and British Columbia editions of the lucrative contest the PEAK Performance Project. Now, the two bands are quite literally going to be taking a victory lap. Their "Victory Tour" will take place this spring in their home provinces.

The outing includes nine shows in all. It will kick off in Vancouver on May 27 as part of a show where the top 12 participants in BC's 2015 PEAK Performance Project will be named.

Then, less than two weeks later, the whole thing will culminate in a Calgary show where — you guessed it — the top 12 participants in Alberta's PEAK Performance Project will be unveiled.

Of course, the PEAK Performance Project comes with a lefty financial prize, and both the Wet Secrets and Good For Grapes are using their money to work on new albums. The Wet Secrets recently signed with Six Shooter Records to make a new album, and Good for Grapes revealed on their website that they were recording at Vancouver's Warehouse Studio.
